This policy describes the information Journey may process when you use tryjourney.dev, the Journey application, CLI, API, or MCP service.
Information Journey processes
Journey may process account details you provide, repository and project identifiers needed to operate the service, and structured events that your coding agent submits. Those events can include decision titles, context, reasoning, alternatives, problems, resolutions, and explicit provenance.
What Journey is not designed to collect
Journey is not designed as a raw conversation or keystroke logging pipeline. Do not intentionally submit secrets, access tokens, personal data, or confidential source code in event fields.
How information is used
- Provide, secure, and maintain the service.
- Display private or published journeys according to your choices.
- Diagnose reliability and prevent abuse.
- Communicate material service or policy changes.
Published journeys
Journeys you explicitly publish may be publicly accessible and indexed by search engines. Review event contents before publishing.
Retention and requests
Information is retained only as long as reasonably necessary for the service, legal obligations, or legitimate security needs. To request access, correction, or deletion, email privacy@tryjourney.dev.
Changes
Material updates will be reflected on this page with a revised effective date.
